Product information
Everything we publish about a product is either the manufacturer's own stated specification or our own description of it. We check what we publish, and manufacturers change specifications without telling retailers, so measure anything that has to fit before you order it.
This is not advice
The guides and answers on this site are general background. They are not engineering, technical, safety or legal advice, and they are not a substitute for the instructions supplied with a product or for a competent person's judgement on a particular job.
Protective equipment
Where we sell protective equipment we quote the manufacturer's own description and figures. We do not state that any item meets or is certified to a standard. Whether an item suits your hazard is decided by your own assessment and by the markings and instructions on the product, not by a product listing.
Lifting and power equipment
Rated capacities are the equipment's limits, stated by its maker. They are not targets, and they assume correct rigging, an anchor rated for the load and equipment in good condition. Lifting equipment used at work in Canada may also be subject to inspection requirements under the occupational health and safety rules of your province or territory.

Where we link to another site we do so because it was useful at the time. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content.
